This is not a bill... yet

According to Kevin M.D., the paper trail from a simple doctor's visit can be so labyrinthine that some people simply wait for an envelope from a collection agency before cutting a check.

Having recently received a stack of those "this is not a bill" statements myself, I can empathize.  Glad I'm not sick often, it's just too complicated.
